Who we are
Best Event Leads is a New Zealand-based consultancy helping businesses improve lead generation at trade shows and exhibitions.

Information we collect
When you contact us or use our services, we may collect:
- Your name, email address and business name.
- Information you provide about your business, event and the assistance you need.
- Appointment details and information you submit when booking a consultation.
- Payment information such as transaction amounts, payment status and references (but not your full payment-card number).
- Correspondence and relevant information shared during consulting engagements.
Our website and service providers may also process technical data such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs to operate and secure their services.
Our free resources do not require an email address, account or registration.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries; arrange, deliver and follow up on consulting engagements; manage payments, refunds and appointments; maintain business records and website security; and meet applicable legal or tax obligations.
Providing information is voluntary, but we need a name and a way to contact you to respond to an enquiry or provide a booked consultation.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not automatically add visitors to a marketing mailing list when they download a resource, make an enquiry or book a consultation.
Who processes information
We use the following service providers to run Best Event Leads:
- Google Workspace, Forms and Sheets — enquiries, email and business administration.
- Google Calendar and Meet — scheduling and online meetings.
- Cal.com — appointment booking and confirmations.
- Stripe — payment processing and refunds.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and related technical services.
These providers may store or process information outside New Zealand, including in the United States. Their own privacy notices describe how they handle information within their services. We also disclose information when required by law.
Stripe collects and processes card details for payments. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Protecting and keeping information
We take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure of information. We keep it only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Some financial records must be retained for seven years under New Zealand tax rules. Other information is deleted or securely disposed of when it is no longer required.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or request that we correct anything inaccurate. You can also raise a concern about how we have handled your information.
